Leg B: Male courtship scene
The scene on leg B of this tripod pyxis shows a bearded nude man reaching out with both hands to touch a nude youth. The youth holds a wreath and a vessel on long thongs, perhaps representing a gift from his courter. To the left, another man pats the adult's back encouragingly, while to his right, a fourth figure dances. Two men dressed in himations look on.
